New England Culinary Institute

For over 30 years our unique apprenticeship model has been the New England Culinary Institute (NECI) recipe for success. Small classes, kitchen learning from day one, long internships, and unparalleled personal attention-these are the raw ingredients of a NECI education. With our menu of programs and degrees, you can create the education you need to fulfill your dreams.

Although New England Culinary Institute has no commercial farms, our curriculum emphasizes the sustainability of our food system and the importance of our connection to local farmers and food makers of all kinds. Over the decades, we have implemented “green” practices throughout our campus to reduce our use of non-renewable energy. Composting is a requirement in all of our teaching and dining facilities.

Here at NECI, you learn it by living it. Our programs in Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry Arts, and Food and Beverage Business Management are the next step in food production. We teach students how to transform the fresh, raw products grown from the Vermont landscape into products renowned for quality. You will learn in small classes, not in a lecture hall. Your chef instructors will know your name, your strengths, your ambitions, and how to help you succeed. All programs incorporate professional internships which put your education to the test, and frequently lead to long-term job offers.

Inquiries: For more information on our programs visit www.neci.edu, or call 877.223.6324.
